GENERAL INFORMATION
It is the School's mission to create a fun, safe and engaging environment where children can learn and progress. Each child is an individual and is treated as such. I provide a range of different activities where students can grow in skill and confidence and remember it all for a long time to come.
Each child at VJSD is expected to be well mannered, respectful and kind to each other.

GDPR Policy
VJSD is registered with the ICO (Information Commissioners Office) and is committed to protecting the rights and freedoms of individuals, with respect to the processing of children's, parents, visitors and staff personal data. The GDPR gives individuals the right to know what information is held about them. It provides a framework to ensure that personal information is handled properly.
Data held by VJSD is shared with the ISTD ONLY, the information given is to register pupils for examinations.

It is the responsibility of the School to maintain the safety and security of the students and the working/dancing environment. We have the below Health and Safety Policy in place.
Photography and Filming Policy
VJSD Registration Forms contain a photography and filming consent & agreement section, which must be filled before a child may join any class. By agreeing to this you have given VJSD the permission to use photography for advertisement and social media. Photographs and filming are not permitted by any parent or guardian without prior consent.

VJSD is not responsible for any loss or damage to property whilst on the premises.

Registration & Payment Terms
Registration
All students are required to register with the school, this secures their place in classes. Registration paperwork consists of general contact information, next of kin information and photography and filming consent. All paperwork is confidential and kept securely (GDPR Policy).
Fees
Payments can be made on a preferred monthly basis.
Payment of fees are to be paid by cash or bank transfer. Receipts will only be provided upon request. Fees are subject to change and VJSD will notify you in advance of any increase in fees.
Absence & Illness
Payments for missed classes may be transferred into the next month if prior notice of absence is given 24 hours before classes. If your child is ill please inform Vanessa prior to your child's class. It is at VJSD discretion whether payment will be transferred across.

Uniform
Students should be in correct uniform and neatly groomed. VJSD stocks the School's required uniform, please ask Vanessa/Amanda for any uniform that you require.
Whilst we would like new pupils to wear the School uniform as soon as they have settled in, it is not essential to buy it straight away. In the first few weeks, whilst getting used to classes, pupils may wear any leotard, skirt, cycle shorts, leggings, tight fitting t-shirt.
