Dance has always been so much more to me than steps on a stage — it is about connection, confidence, happiness, and creating a place where everyone feels they belong. From the very beginning, my passion has been to build a school that feels like family; a supportive environment where every dancer is encouraged to grow, believe in themselves, and make lifelong memories. This year’s show is especially meaningful, as we invited our parents and families to have their say in the performances we chose. Each routine represents special moments, treasured memories, favourite songs, and stories that have touched the lives of our VJSD family. It has been wonderful to celebrate not only our love of dance, but also the people who make our school so special. VJSD is more than a dance school — it is a family, and one I am incredibly proud of.
